The city government of Ozamiz City has ordered the closure of Gaisano Capital Mall due to non-compliance of minimum health standards particularly on implementation of social distancing.

As per Pastor Rolando Acaac of the Permit Division of the City Administrator’s Office, the mall management has been warned several times before regarding social distancing but no action has been taken by the mall management prompting city hall to impose the closure order.

Accordingly, the mall will be allowed to re-open once it submits a Letter of Explanation addressed to the Office of the City Mayor relative to their violations as well as submission of other requirements prior to reopening.
