If you’ve been at the ongoing 7th Big Bite Food Festival at Centrio Ayala Mall in Cagayan de Oro City, you’ll find some food displays you rarely see inside malls. One of which is ABITRIA LECHON BAKA located along the CV Roa Driveway which incidentally will be finally opening a physical store along Tomas Saco Street (near the former Loreto’s) soon.
Known for their famed slow roasted tender lechon baka, Abitria started their family business in Iligan City in the mid 1990s.
In 2019, they expanded to Cagayan de Oro offering lechon baka (whole) mostly to special events and gatherings and last year during the pandemic started selling on a per kilo basis and party trays.
At the 7th Big Bite Food Festival, you can see first hand how they roast lechon baka.
Customers can have a glimpse or taste with their lechon baka servings. Their P115 solo rice meal is a best seller so far.
Their upcoming store along Tomas Saco Street in Nazareth is tentatively set to open in next month (April). For inquiries, just contact 0917-562-8246 | 0915-146-4413.
