In case you didn’t know, the CDO NEW EASTERN DIVERSION ROAD project is already ongoing. The new road opening starts at South Diversion Road and traverses the mountain slopes of Mandumol in Macasandig, Nazareth (near Ramonal Village) and Camaman-an towards the flat area of Justo Ramonal, Jct. J.R. Borja Extension connecting the main road of Limketkai Center and ends at CM Recto Avenue (National Highway) in Lapasan.

The project is a multi lane road composed of a two (2) lane carriageway with an additional bicycle lane.

Construction actually started in the 3rd quarter last year but due to the pandemic and the project’s location which is in the interior part, we didn’t notice it until a recent satellite image revealed the ongoing road construction.

A Notice to Proceed was issued to the contractor (Venray Construction Corp.) in April last year during the lockdown.
