For the second year in a row, KAAMULAN FESTIVAL is CANCELLED. In an advisory dated March 4, 2021, Governor Jose Ma. R. Zubiri, Jr. cited public health and safety in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic as the main reason.

Citing the advisory from the Department of Health which strongly urged the public to avoid attending, participating in and organizing events that draw a huge number of attendees in view of the ongoing threat of the 2019 novel Coronavirus (nCoV), Gov. Zubiri cancelled the province’s biggest and most colorful festival. The cancellation is also a pro-active measure to keep the people of the province safe from the threat of the highly infectious disease. Read the memo below.
