Another reticulated python was caught in Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City by members of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD) Oro Rescue – Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Unit. This is the second reticulated python caught in Kauswagan in as many months this year.

Accordingly, Oro Rescue found the reticulated python after a concerned citizen called for assistance. The said wildlife was temporarily placed in the Regional Wildlife Rescue Center for proper custody, check-up and safekeeping.
