A private bus carrying 44 catechists from Wao, Lanao del Sur overturned along the Talakag-Lantapan Highway in Sitio Kinulongon, Lirongan, Talakag, Bukidnon Wednesday night, February 24, 2021 after it reportedly lost its brakes. The passengers were going on a retreat in Alanib, Lantapan when the accident happened in a dimly lit area with intermittent cellphone signal. One person died while several others were injured and brought to a hospital.
