Fishermen were barred from going to sea because of Tropical Storm Auring…but instead, the fish came to them! Local villagers in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental were surprised to see millions of sardines or locally known as “tamban” along the shore near the mouth of Tagoloan River today, February 21, 2021.

In photos shared by Christian Jay Hondrada Lapu-Lapu, the sardines were carried by strong currents caused by a brewing storm near Caraga Region. Some say it’s a blessing while others say otherwise. Browse the photos below.
