Aside from Aljun Melecio of Valencia City in Bukidnon, six other aspiring players from Northern Mindanao including another Lastimosa have submitted their applications for the upcoming 2021 PBA Draft.

They include 6’1 Ronnel Lastimosa of National University from Cagayan de Oro, 6’7 Rey Mark Acuno of University of the East from Tubod, Lanao del Norte, 6’6 Antonio Bonsubre Jr. of San Beda from Initao, Misamis Oriental, 6’0 Reymar Caduyac of Lyceum from Libona, Bukidnon, and 6’2 Bryan Carlo Daguplo of STI from Bukidnon.

Meanwhile, a relatively unknown in 5’8 Shem Kenneth Magallanes of Caybiga High School who was born in Misamis Oriental also submitted his application. Interestingly, in a game in the Middle East, he was named Best Player after scoring 53 points.
