Have you tried watching movies on a large screen outdoor style? KAWA NATIVE CARINDERIA located in Barangay Dansolihon is now offering that unique experience, perhaps the first of its kind in Cagayan de Oro City. Aside from serving delectable native dishes, Kawa is now also catering to evening picnics. Kawa is open weekdays from 7:30am to 5:00pm and on weekends from 7:30am to 9:00pm.
GETTING THERE. Kawa Native Carinderia is easy to locate since it is right along the main highway. The nearest landmark is Mangalay Junction as shown in the map below. Kawa is just around 480 meters from the said junction further south going to Talakag. Also, another landmark is Mambuaya Proper and Mambuaya Elementary School. Kawa is 1.7 kilometers further down the road on the right side. It is accessible by all types of vehicles. It is just 20 minutes from SM City Uptown.
Kawa’s initial opening in October last year went trending in social media owing to its natural ambiance and selection of native Filipino dishes.
Now, it is offering that unique experience of watching classic movies in an outdoor setting barring the occurrence of rain of course.
Having dinner outdoors is also quite romantic.
And the night ambiance is also equally refreshing with good selection of lighting fixtures.
