GETTING THERE. The directional landmark is Trinidad Square located along the National Highway which is a popular meet up place in the town just 120 meters from the famed Mantianak Tree Park if you’re coming from Cagayan de Oro. Just follow the road to the interior until you reach Kidampas proper some 9 kilometers from the highway. Road is passable for all types of vehicle. Just turn left at the Kidampas welcome signage and you’ll be at the site. See map below.
Named after Don Benedicto Lagbas who built the town’s landmark Lagbas Ancestral House, the place is still in development but already has some structures which define the park concept. Structures have plant roots twining on them.
The area is also defined by cooler temperatures….and it fogs often.
Well, these triangular cottages are just perfect for overnight stays.
The development followed the existing terrain.
And visitors have started taking their photos at the place.
At Kinawa Park, there is clean crystal clear spring water…

The place is also ideal for family and group picnics.
Bathing in cold spring waters is just tempting…
