A 24-hectare world class sports facility will soon rise in the Municipality of of Kibawe in Bukidnon. KIBAWE SPORTS COMPLEX located in East Kibawe will feature a rubberized oval, among others. It will be the first out of 22 sports complexes (other than the ongoing Bukidnon Sports Complex in Laguitas, Malaybalay City) to be constructed in Bukidnon under the administration of Gov. Jose Ma. Zubiri.

The formal ground breaking ceremony held last January 13, 2021 was attended by Bukidnon 3rd District Rep. Manuel F. Zubiri, local officials led by Vice Mayor Raymundo Batao and DPWH engineers and project contractors. The project will replace the old oval of nearby Kibawe Central Elementary School.
