Three barangay captains from Northern Mindanao were among 89 names who were suspended by the Office of the Ombudsman in connection with anomalies and irregularities in the implementation of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP). Their names were announced by President Rodrigo Duterte during his public address last night, January 18, 2021.
They are as follows:
- Camilo Anduyan of Barangay Tibanga in Iligan City
- Jocelyn Janioso of Barangay Mabunga in Baungon, Bukidnon
- Zosimo Zapico Jr. of Barangay Ampenican in Salay, Misamis Oriental
Their 6-months suspension actually started in September 2020. If found guilty, they will be dismissed from government service. Read link below.
