GETTING THERE. If you’re one of those who gets lost in Nazareth, the landmark is Yumi Pension House (Mercury Drug) along Tomas Saco Street. If you’re coming from Rodelsa Circle, take the road beside Mercury Drug (15th Street) and turn right after it (10th Street). Saboroso is right along the right side. See map below.
We tried Saboroso’s whole chicken inasal first via food delivery (Foodpanda) and it comes with soy sauce and chicken oil. And its taste is really different from the grilled chicken stalls you see around the city.
Their rice meal is served with “yellow” rice, chicken inasal, soy sauce and kalamansi.
Aside from whole manok inasal, Saboroso also offers whole liempo inasal. It also serves rice meals in its open dining area. Saboroso rice is colored yellow – rice mixed with chicken oil which makes it even tastier. Extras include Chorizo (Regular and Spicy), Spicy Liog and Isol. Here’s the full menu.
Saboroso has an open dining area which is usually packed at night.
You can see their chicken inasal being grilled onsite and it is served fresh from grill.
Roadside parking is utilized for customers.
