The Cagayan de Oro International Seaport is one of the busiest government ports in the country in terms of cargo throughput with its four giant gantry cranes. It has the country’s biggest Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) among PPA-owned seaports that can accommodate approximately 3,000 passengers during peak passenger-season and a 6-lane Cargo Gate Complex, both inaugurated in 2019.
The Cagayan de Oro Port Zone has a total area of 364 hectares composed of a land area of about 25 hectares and sea area of 340 hectares. It has a quay length of 1,398 linear meters and one RoRo ramp. It has a 10,872.25 sqm container freight station and a 3.2-hectare contaner yard (from PPA).
