Twenty-five (25) former rebels (FR) in Bukidnon who had undergone 20-day pipefitting skills training by TESDA were directly hired by Aboitiz Construction Company and are now deployed in the firm’s various construction projects nationwide. Accordingly, the skilled FRs will earn a daily wage of Php415 with additional incentives based on their performance.
Photo below shows some of the FRs at Laguindingan Airport in Misamis Oriental before their flight to Manila. They are part of the first batch of FRs turned TESDA graduates.

The project was in partnership with TESDA-Bukidnon, MACES Skills Training Institute, Aboitiz Construction Company and the 403rd Infantry (Peacemaker) Brigade. The said FRs graduated the Pipefitting Training last October 30, 2020.

Some of the TESDA pipefitters are shown below in one of the construction project in Batangas.
