What’s it like being a host to a family of birds taking occupancy at your home? Well, it was quite a learning and exciting experience for Walter, a resident of Cagayan de Oro and an animal enthusiast when a family of sunbirds locally known as “tamsi” took residency at his home garage during the start of the pandemic community quarantine last March of this year.

It was just an opportune time that Mother Nature gave him company being stuck at home.

For more than 3 months, he documented on how they built a nest at his house, how they raised their chicks and observed other interesting behaviors of these birds.
