A road work near the foot of Macanhan Flyover approach early today, October 30, 2020 caused a 1.5-kilometer traffic along Masterson Avenue.
As shown below, the said work (we don’t know if it’s a road or drainage-related) caused the closure of the downtown-bound lane of Masterson Avenue and alternate traffic flow was implemented for both traffic flows.
It occurred during rush hour so the long line of vehicles coming from the uptown area reached approximately 1.5 kilometers. Teraffic personnel were observed onsite and other traffic was diverted to Upper Zone 10 in Carmen.
In its latest update, the Roads and Traffic Administration stated that as of 9:48am, traffic in the area has already normalized.
