Do you know there’s a “mini desert” somewhere in Bukidnon? Well, it’s not really a desert but a natural formation caused by a long period of erosion located in Barangay Cabadiangan in the Municipality of Kadingilan.
The site is just actually a small area on the southern banks of Lake Simsiman which is some 1.6 kilometers south of Cabadiangan Proper and approximately 17 kilometers southwest of the Municipal Hall of Kadingilan. See the map below. The one at right is a closer shot of the lake and the “desert”.
The ‘desert’ is shown on the left.
The site is actually popular among locals in the area and has been visited by travelers from nearby municipalities. A couple even had a pre-nup photoshoot at the site.
