The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) is currently finalizing plans to establish a Php 14 million Regional Food Terminal in Miarayon, Talakag, Bukidnon which would benefit local farmers, traders and residents in the area. The DA eyes to have the food terminal to be established and operational by 2021.

Accordingly, the planned regional food terminal will significantly increase the profit of local farmers since it will eliminate the participation of middlemen.
Talakag has a potential production area of around 11,000 hectares and is known for producing high value vegetables such as white potato, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce and coffee.
