Here is the latest construction update of the Cagayan de Oro Ecopark Project located in Upper Carmen as well as the Macapagal Drive-Upper Carmen Diversion Road Project as of September 2020.
You can observe the site layout of the 17-hectare ecopark development project at the former dumpsite (screengrab from TRip ni Tonio video). Phase 1 of the ongoing development covers the Rotunda, Parking Area, Children’s Playground, Food Hall, Lagoon and Amphitheater, among others.
Meanwhile, below are more screengrabs from TRip ni Tonio video on the Macapagal Drive-Upper Carmen Diversion Road Project. Residents in the area have so far made the completed section of the road as a jogging and cycling area.
This section leading to Patag is still under construction. You can observe ongoing road concreting works.
Here’s the route map as we have posted before. This new road opening as initially planned will traverse the southwestern boundary of Camp Evangelista and then go further northwest connecting to Kauswagan Highway.
