LAKE NAPALIT located in Barangay Pigtauranan, Pangantucan, Bukidnon is a tectonic lake at the foot of Mt. Kalatungan which has an area of around 36 hectares. Sources state the lake is a sacred place among the local indigenous people so visiting the site needs permission from the concerned IP community.

GETTING THERE

There are are two ways to get to Lake Napalit. (1) If you’re coming from Cagayan de Oro and Talakag, just follow the Talakag-Dominorog-Barandias Road and after reaching Brgy. Nabaliwa in Pangantucan, turn left towards Brgy. Pigtauranan. The lake is just near the barangay proper. (2) If you’re coming from Sayre Highway, the best route is at Maramag Proper at Petron Junction (Maramag-Maradugao Road). From Pangantucan (Poblacion), the Lake is about 20-30 minutes travel time.
