Pilgrims at the Christ The King Shrine in Samay, Gingoog City can now have a good place to worship with yesterday’s historic first mass and blessing of the new Eco-Chapel. The chapel is neatly nestled among the trees providing shade to visitors.

Located along Route 955, the shrine has become part of the province’s growing religious tourism destinations. The 75-foot Christ the King statue is the centerpiece of the whole development which relies on donations from generous benefactors.
