Good news for commuters. Bachelor Express has resumed bus trips from Cagayan de Oro City to Butuan and Surigao Cities and vice-versa following special approval for resumption of inter-regional routes. Further, passengers are required to present their travel pass, medical certificate, and their rapid/swab test with negative result upon boarding.

See below schedule of trips and list if quarantine checkpoints along the route where necessary travel documents are required upon inspection.

BUS SCHEDULE:

  • CDO-Butuan-Surigao and vice-versa: DAILY at 8AM
  • CDO-Butuan and vice-versa: Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6AM (first trip)

NOTE: A maximum of 24 passengers can be accommodated per trip, and with stopovers and quarantine health checkpoints.

The following are the stopovers:

  • Carmen, Agusan del Norte Integrated Bus Terminal
  • Kibungsod, Magsaysay, Mis. Or. Integrated Bus Terminal
  • Gingoog City Integrated Bus Terminal
  • Balingoan,Mis.Or. Integrated Bus Terminal
  • Salay, Mis. Or. Integrated Bus Terminal
  • Balingasag,Mis.Or. Integrated Bus Terminal
  • Agora Integrated Bus Terminal

The following are the quarantine health checkpoints (Butuan City-CDO route):

  1. Cabantian, Magsaysay, Mis Or.
  2. Panggasihan, Gingoog City
  3. Bugo, CDO

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Any government issued ID and/or company and/or school ID
  • Travel Pass

The following are the quarantine health checkpoints (CDO-Butuan City route):

  1. Tagoloan, Mis Or.
  2. Provincial boundary area of Mis. Or. & Carmen, Agusan del Norte
  3. Bancasi, Butuan City

REQUIREMENTS – For Tagoloan quarantine health checkpoint:

  • Any government issued ID and/or company and/or school ID
  • Travel Pass

REQUIREMENTS – For Agusan del Norte boundary quarantine health checkpoint:

  • Travel pass from the origin of the passenger

REQUIREMENTS – For Bancasi quarantine health checkpoint:

  • Rapid and/or Swab test which shows negative result

Passengers are required to wear facemasks, step on footbaths and apply disinfectant upon boarding their bus. Face shields will also be required both to the passengers and drivers starting August 15, 2020.
