The City Government of Cagayan de Oro has signed an agreement with Cagayan de Oro Polymedic Medical Plaza for the allocation of half a million worth of medical equipment which will serve as “reservation deposit” that would grant the city 100 Covid-19 testing slots for indigent patients at a discounted rate of P5.,000 per test.

Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery and CDO Polymedic Medical Plaza President Dr. Reuben Go signed the agreement Wednesday, July 22 at the Polymedic Medical Plaza lobby.

Only indigent patients identified and referred by the city government to the hospital shall benefit of the discounted testing.

CDO Polymedic Medical Plaza became the first private medical facility in Northern Mindanao to be issued a license by the Department of Health to operate a laboratory for the conduct of reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.
