A heavy downpour late Friday afternoon, July 3, 2020, flooded the National Highway and adjacent areas in Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City resulting to heavy traffic. According to PAG-ASA, the rain is caused by the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). Drainage lines overflowed and low-lying areas were submerged. The highway though was still passable.
