Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office No. 10 (PDEA-10) has a new Regional Director in the person of Emerson R. Rosales who was previously assigned in PDEA Region 8 in Eastern Visayas. He succeeds Wilkins Villanueva who is now PDEA Director General.
Rosales once served as PDEA R-11 Regional Director during President Rodrigo Duterte’s last term as mayor of Davao City where he made headlines after a P300 million cocaine bust found inside a container van.
In 2019, Emerson Rosales who was then Regional Director of PDEA Regional Office II was hailed as “THE MARIJUANA PRINCE” for having arrested the most number of other high-value targets (500 grams and up for Marijuana) for CY 2018.
