Local health officials confirmed today that the 10th confirmed case in Cagayan de Oro City is a 25-year old female student from Barangay Lumbia who arrived in the city via mercy voyage from Cebu last May 19. She is in the same group with another patient from Iligan who earlier tested positive. They were stranded in Cebu following the postponement of the architecture board exam.

The patient is now admitted at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) after developing symptoms like cough, shortness of breath and loose bowel movement while at the City Isolation Unit where she was brought upon her arrival. However, the patient is reportedly asymptomatic and stable. Contact tracing has so far identified 65 individuals. Read details below courtesy of CIO.
