Twenty-three OFWs from Northern Mindanao have finally arrived safely at Laguindingan Airport on a sweeper fight from Manila after being stranded in Clark for 54 days. Of the 23, 9 are from Cagayan de Oro City and 2 from Misamis Oriental.
They will now undergo mandatory 14-day quarantine before they can be reunited with their respective families.
In his Facebook post, Cagayan de Oro 2nd Dist. Rep. Rufus Rodriguez personally thanked Mr. Michael Tan, son of Chairman Lucio Tan, Philippine Airlines President Gilbert Sta. Maria and Manager Harry Inoferio for the sweeper flight and Department of Tourism Region 10 Director May Unchuan for coordinating with BCDA President Vince Dizon, and OWWA Administrator Hans Cacdac.
