Bukidnon Governor Jose Ma. R. Zubiri, Jr. has signed an advisory prohibiting ALL residents in Bukidnon from travelling outside the province until May 15, 2020 with some exceptions as stated in Sections 8 and 10 of Executive Order No. 21 he signed last April 25.
Accordingly, said advisory stemmed from the continued increase of Covid-19 cases in neighboring provinces and the pending request of Misamis Oriental Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano to place Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
Section 8 of EO 21 states that “workers residing from outside the province may now be allowed entry subject to presentation of proper identification, certificate of employment and/or passes. However, they will be required to present a certification from the city or municipal health office that he/she is not a PUM or PUI.”
Meanwhile, Section 10 lists down the persons who may be allowed passage in checkpoints such as medical workers, authorized government officials, persons who needs urgent medical attention and persons transiting to airports/seaports.
