Cagayan de Oro City will adopt the Omnibus Guidelines on the implementation of General Community Quarantine (GCQ) set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases.
During a briefing yesterday, May 2, Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno said City Hall will be conducting intensive briefings on the said omnibus guidelines issued by the national government after the city and Misamis Oriental province were recently classified as areas under GCQ. Mayor Moreno said while his executive orders have been overridden by the omnibus guidelines, some requirements like the barangay exit pass is still in effect since it is a preventive measure that complies with and enforces the GCQ omnibus guidelines that mandate Filipinos to stay at home.
