Thirty-four year old Ken Lambatan, a batch 2007 nursing graduate of Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines succumbed to the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) while working as a National Health Service (NHS) front liner assigned at the cardiac unit of St. George Hospital in London, United Kingdom.
Ken’s colleagues paid tribute to him who was described as fit and active and popular among hospital staff and patients.
Prior to his job in London, Ken was a nurse for 8 years at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines.
