Bukidnon Governor Jose Ma. R. Zubiri, Jr. has just approved Executive Order No. 21, series of 2020 which prescribes New Guidelines Under General Community Quarantine effective Monday, April 27, 2020 in the whole province. This following the Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution yesterday, April 24 which classified the province as a low-risk area.
Based on Section 8 of the said Executive Order, workers residing from outside the province may now be allowed entry subject to presentation of proper identification, certificate of employment and/or passes. However, they will be required to present a certification from the city or municipal health office that he/she is not a PUM or PUI.
Strict enforcement of quarantine procedures will still be implemented in various checkpoints. Again, non-residents will still be not allowed entry except if they are health workers, authorized government personnel, traveling with urgent medical or humanitarian reason with doctor’s referral, transiting to airport/seaport for essential authorized travel, providing basic services or public utilities, and labor and workforce of businesses authorized to resume operations.
