Here is the latest COVID-19 Tracker in Northern Mindanao as of April 12, 2020. We have sourced the figures from the Department of Health (DOH) main website and the just concluded press briefing at Cagayan de Oro City Hall in the absence of latest update from the Facebook page of The Department of Health Center for Health Development in Northern Mindanao (DOH CHDNM).
As shown below, as of April 12, 2020, there have been 11 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the region with 7 currently admitted and/or under home quarantine with 3 deaths and 1 patient recovered. Interestingly, Cagayan de Oro City now has 2 more positive cases but as clarified by local health officials, the second case involved an 18-year old who contracted COVID-19 while undergoing chemotherapy sessions in Davao City. The said patient listed Cagayan de Oro as his hometown.
Here’s a screenshot from DOH website. As clarified, the figures excluded those from outside Region 10.
