The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has added cooking oil, soy sauce, vinegar, toothpaste, some canned goods, dried fish and other products that will have quantity limit per transaction.

Thru Memorandum Circular 20-10, retailers are enjoined to sell and consumers to buy in limited quantities to prevent unreasonable increase in the prices of all basic necessities and to ensure availability of products especially during the duration of Public Health Emergency. It can be recalled that DTI earlier set limited quantities for consumers to buy on disinfectant alcohol, hand sanitizer, bath soap, face masks, toilet paper and other products.
