Engr. Elpidio Paras has just announced the successful commissioning of Seven Seas Waterpark’s Chlorinsitu IIa machine to produce 815 liters daily of Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution which when diluted down with water is the equivalent of 7,000 liters of surface disinfectant.
In his Facebook post, Engr. Paras stated that the machine which was originally intended to keep the waterpark’s wave pool sanitized for the summer, is now re-purposed to supply a good quantity of chlorine based disinfectant for use by the community. They are now working with Xavier University’s Chemistry Department to produce a properly mixed and effective product for use by frontliners, hospitals and community checkpoints.
