You might have noticed many pharmacies and convenience stores in Cagayan de Oro have already put up plastic see-through curtains as a means to protect its staff from the spread of COVID-19.
These stores are among the only businesses allowed to open these days and with a lot of customers throughout the day, they are also among the high risk areas for the virus to spread. The curtain only has a small opening where customers can place their money and items to buy.
As health officials say, many asymptomatic carriers are freely roaming around despite the “stay at home” policy, unmindful that they already have the virus because they don’t have symptoms. Always protect yourselves.
