Prototype mobile decontamination shower facilities are now installed in major entry and exit points of Iligan City in an attempt to contain the coronavirus outbreak.

The decontamination showers will spray a fine mist of disinfectant solution that will cover the entire body of those who will pass through the mobile decontamination facility to wash away contaminants.

A few days ago, a team from MSU-IIT presented their own disinfection cabin.

These are set-up alongside the boundary checkpoints in Brgy. Dalipuga, Brgy. Abuno, Brgy. Buruun and in Suarez.

With the enhanced community quarantine in Iligan City, those expected to utilize the tents are healthcare workers, emergency frontliners, select government workers, farmers, cargo drivers, skeletal workforce of businesses offering basic services and commodities, media personnel, and hotel employees.
