Two more persons under investigation (PUI) admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) died Monday, March 23. One of the patients is from Cagayan de Oro. This was confirmed by NMMC head Dr. Jose Chan during this morning’s press conference at Cagayan de Oro City Hall.

Accordingly, one of the patients who died has long been confined at NMMC while the second patient was just admitted. The cause of death was severe acute respiratory illness. Watch the interview below.

Despite the rise in the numbers and the declaration of community quarantine, travel within the city still has not been restricted during the day with many people still going around and gathering. Although social distancing has been strictly implemented in transport terminals, it is the opposite in many public transport when they ply streets as observed.
