A couple in Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City successfully sewed 150 washable face masks for frontliners out of cloth donated by fashion designer Ms. Alma Mae Roa. Their dedication also inspired others to make the same for the benefit of medical frontliners, senior citizens and police personnel who are in dire need of face masks.

In her Facebook post, Maebelle Saldua Bernardino said the face masks are not for sale and will be donated to the frontliners and their loved ones as protection against COVID-19.

Making masks is simple. Just follow the pattern below. Some DIY videos are also available on YouTube.

Here’s the couple with their completed face masks made of different printed designs.

Their success also inspired Jhammy Pacz to make her own face masks also to be donated to frontliners.
