The Infrastructure Committee of the Regional Development Council of Northern Mindanao (RDC-10) has approved three flyover projects in Cagayan de Oro aimed at addressing the city’s traffic problem. These are the Galaxy-Coastal Road Flyover in Gusa, Bulua Flyover and Kauswagan-Liceo de Cagayan University Flyover.
We have already posted before the Gusa and Bulua Flyover Projects last October 2019. Meanwhile, the Kauswagan-Liceo Flyover is new.
In our previous post, we provided some initial details of the Galaxy-Coastal Road (Lapasan-Gusa) Flyover which will start at Corrales Avenue and end at Bigaan Bridge for a total length of 4.5 kilometers. Motorists using the flyover will bypass major junctions from Corrales, Osmena, Limketkai, Agora and Coastal Road as proposed. See map below.
Meanwhile, the 2.1-km Bulua Flyover will start at Westbound Terminal Junction and end at Iponan Bridge. See map below.
We don’t have details of the Kauswagan-Liceo Flyover yet. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get more info. Keep posted.
