Here’s a closer look of Razorback Mountain Coaster, the latest thrill ride at Dahilayan Adventure Park Annex which set to be opened to the public this summer.
As shown in the photos below courtesy of Project LUPAD, the country’s first mountain coaster has a unique monorail track that provides a safe and secure platform, with state of the art bobsleds which are equipped with speed limiters and a controllable braking system.
The 600-meter monorail track snakes through the Dahilayan forest with a duration between 1.5 to 2 minutes starting from a hilltop launch area to a finish line. It is an extremely fun family ride patterned after the Alpine Coaster in Europe and America.
Just an added trivia – it’s called Razorback because there were many wild boars in the area where the ride is located.
