The Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) is now drafting a new curriculum to be submitted to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) which will reportedly include a degree in electronic sports (ESports). Once approved, it will be the first in the country.

According to CNN Philippines, LPU collaborated with Tier One Entertainment to develop the four-year degree on Bachelor of Science in ESports.
The new degree program will reportedly have two tracks namely: game development and esports management.
