It’s confirmed. This year’s KAAMULAN FESTIVAL has been CANCELLED. This is based on Memorandum No. 431, series of 2020 signed today, February 12, 2020 by Governor Jose Ma. R. Zubiri, Jr.
Citing the advisory from the Department of Health which strongly urged the public to avoid attending, participating in and organizing events that draw a huge number of attendees in view of the ongoing threat of the 2019 novel Coronavirus (nCoV), Gov. Zubiri cancelled the province’s biggest and most colorful festival. The cancellation is also a pro-active measure to keep the people of the province safe from the threat of the highly infectious disease. Read the memo below.
