The Cagayan de Oro Port Passenger Terminal Building (PTB), considered the country’s largest, finally started operations last December 30, 2019 with holiday travelers the first to use the new PTB which can handle 3,000 passengers daily.
Similar to an airport, the new PTB is equipped with a security checkpoint with x-ray scanner for baggage, body scanner and CCTVs.
The 2-storey facility has a total floor area of 5,597 sq.m. providing comfort and convenience to passengers.
Boarding time is usually 3-4 hours before the scheduled departure. Shipping firms usually make announcements. It also has three boarding gates.
And by the way, Terminal Fee is P25 per head for regular while senior, PWD, student and children are FREE as per DoTr Memorandum.
