Is it going to be a rainy Christmas in Northern Mindanao? A tropical depression spotted west of Mindanao but still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 11AM, December 21 is forecast to enter PAR between Sunday night (December 22) and Monday morning (December 23) and dump rains during Christmas Eve.

According to PAGASA, once it enters PAR, it will be named “URSULA” and is expected to make landfall between Eastern Visayas and Caraga Region either Tuesday night (December 24) or Wednesday morning (December 25). View the track below.
