Just in time for the peak season of traveling, Trans-Asia Shipping Lines Inc (TASLI) recently launched M/V TRANS-ASIA 20, its newest Ro-Ro type vessel now serving the Cebu-Cagayan de Oro-Cebu route.
Built in Japan, the 5,100-metric ton M/V Trans Asia 20 can carry a total of 690 passengers, 22 buses and 6 trucks and includes amenities such as Information Counter, Prayer Room, Clinic, Dynamic Cuisine Restaurant, Convenience Store, Massage Spa, Sundeck and Smoking Room. Accommodation choices range from non-aircon to air-conditioned reclining ferry seats, tourist, cabin and private room.
It has 2 main and 3 auxiliary engines with a cruising speed of 16.5 knots.
