Smart users in Northern Mindanao are enjoying faster 4G download speed than Globe users. This according to OpenSignal, an independent global analytics company known for measuring real-world mobile network experience.

Based on OpenSignal’s data collected from September 1 to November 30, 2019, in urban areas, Smart has an average download speed of 9.1 Mbps as compared to Globe’s 7.0 Mbps. In rural areas, Smart even enjoys a much faster speed than Globe at 8.7 Mbps to Globe’s 4.7 Mbps.
