The Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental is set to convert the Cebu Pacific Flight 387 Shrine near the boundary of Gingoog City and Claveria town into a Botanical Garden and Tourism Complex.
The development includes a view deck, a recreational area for kids, a coffee shop, pathways and landscaped areas for the botanical garden. View some colorful renderings below. You can see the Flight 387 Memorial still at the center.

The project will be funded by the Department of Energy’s ER 1-94 pursuant to Section 5 of Republic Act No. 7638. The memorandum of agreement for such was signed lats Monday by Governor Yevgeny Emano and representatives of power plants in the province.
