The Capitol University Alumni Association (CUAA), Inc. and Capitol University will be bringing to Cagayan de Oro City the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers for a benefit concert on November 16, 2019, at Capitol University’s GLSR Theater.

Organized in 1963 by National Artist Professor Andrea O. Veneracion, the Philippine Madrigal Singers (or MADZ) is the first choir in the world to win the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing twice in 1997 and 2007. In 2012, MADZ became the first choir in the world to receive an award as the World’s Best Choral Ensemble from the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation.
