Batch 1995 of Xavier University High School (XUHS) is set to host the University’s Annual High School Alumni Homecoming on November 23, 2019 at the Limketkai Atrium. The summer-themed event dubbed “XUHS: Hotter Than Summer 2019” is expected to be a fun-filled night full of surprises and nostalgia as the host batch honors its alumni and former teachers and faculty.
Leading the honorees are this year’s 50th Golden Jubilarians: XUHS Batch 1969 led by Mr. Jimmy Zamora. Celebrating their 25th Silver Jubilee is XUHS Batch 1994 led by Dr. Riyadh Balbontin.
Also being honored are Batches 1979 (Ruby Jubilarians) and 1989 (Pearl Jubilarians). A tribute to former teachers and faculty will also highlight the program. “We have accepted the challenge of hosting the Alumni Homecoming and we hope to have a fun and memorable night for all the attendees.” said Mark Richard Adeva, Chairman of XUHS 1995, Inc.
The program will start with a eucharistic mass followed by giving of special awards, roll call of the batches and presentation of surprise numbers, highlighted by a singing competition called the “Acoustic Idol”, where representatives of various batches will participate. Cool prizes and giveaways await the alumni.
“The batch has been working really hard with our partners and sponsors to bring the alumni a homecoming that we all can be proud of.”, XUHS 1995, Inc. Vice Chairman Fred Philip Dael said.
